White Oak Announcements Information about Elementary Summer Skills
In order to reduce the cost of textbook fees, the skills packets will not be printed for parents at the elementary levels. Instead, as all communications have indicated, parents have the option of printing those using their own resources if they choose. In addition, online assignments are available for all K-4 students with a high speed internet connection, to focus on math skills free of cost to parents. For more information regarding Avon’s Elementary Summer Skills web page, please go to our district page and click on Elementary Summer Skills link on the left side navigation menu.

As always, families should preview any book for appropriateness of content and reading level before giving it to their students.
· Be a part of the Avon Public Library Summer Reading Program. Read books of your choice and win some great prizes! The Library also has some fantastic, free programs this summer. Check out their website.
